YMU XI GALA
Young Musicians Unite (YMU) hosts an annual gala to raise funds for the upcoming school year. My role during this event was to support our fundraising efforts through strategic marketing. I was also tasked with the creative direction of all marketing materials.
To reach our target audience effectively, we needed to market our gala as a high-end, sophisticated event. Our goal was to attract past and potential donors by using premium visuals and refined branding, encouraging them to attend the event and support a great cause.
Through collaboration with gala partners such as Deco Production and Calev Systems, along with clear communication within our internal marketing team, our comprehensive promotional initiatives —including social media strategy, out-of-home advertising, paid social campaigns, and media placements— enabled YMU to exceed their fundraising goals by 17%.
